/not signed. The only gameplay advantage that I'm aware of is the Lightbringer title, which is for the killing of demons. And wow...the aspect is that if you have killed more demons, you get better in the future at doing so.

Sounds logical to me.

The economic benefits of the other titles are very immaterial, so I don't mind their addition either. Definitely adds an aspect to PvE play that makes things more interesting.

I think the overall game is still based on skill > time.

The question as to weather GW is really skill > time is not black & white. I mean.. it still takes SOME time to beat the game. ANd they don't give you EVEYTHING right off the bat. But they make things adequite. By giving Sufficient resources to beat and enjoy the game without the grind.

These titles don't really effect the game's overall setup. In the same way having a 15%^ 50 instead of a 13% ^50 doesn't really add all that much (no matter how many people fuss over it )

Personally, I think it's nice to give something to the people who don't mind the grind. I think it might also be nice to give titles for completeting short, but very difficult missions. So that it's hard, but requires skill, not time.

... jst think of sup vigor +10 hp compared to major one an it originally had a cost of about 100k now approx 35k... 35k is a lot for a non farmer casual player, but do we complain about that... its no biggie

i really think ppl are making a fuss over nothing... u get lightbringer title by doing quests an killing specific monsters (much like friend of kurzicks/luxon to advance)... tho in a bit larger scale... the salvage of stuff... if u only pvp why the bleep u need to salvage stuff without destroying the item... u have absolutely no use for that feat...
and as for pve... the bonus really is a minor one... u have a possibility to salvage stuff without breaking it neway... which is more than it was before... but this gives ppl also something to gain, i mean u can only come up with new tactics to kill stuff so many times before no tactical thinking is really needed an it becos a grind... this is where time spent benefits come in...

i mean with titles ppl get something to do even after everything is done

time + effort = reward an thats how it should be, rather than time + effort = jst that, nothing but a few white stuff worth 500 g an some xp?
